March 7, 2020. Sunset 6:09 PM. . San Francisco, CA. Until we meet again in the fall-- Disrupting our sense of cycles and continuity once again. We can opt out of this change and remain in Standard Time- it's the law of the land! Arizona and Hawaii are already hanging in there. However, if we want to stay with Daylight Savings Time, it's a bit more difficult to change. Also, not the better option if you think about going to work in the dark at 8:00 in the winter. Or as a state or Nation that we would be more out of sync with the rest of world-- An hour ahead for more than half the year. Ach-- at least remember to jump ahead tonight so as not to be late for anything tomorrow.

Sunrise - 3/7/20 Oakland, CA by Eric Kupers
Sunrise 6:31 AM – 3/7/20 Oakland, CA. by Eric Kupers The cross fade from dream of trying to get everyone into a circle pushing, clamping down, making it MY way Into a headful state Pushing mindfulness techniques pushing, clamping down, making it MY way Finally stepping outside Greeted by gentleness Halfway between drizzle and mist A reminder to soften, from skin inwards The birds’ song just far enough away Just soft enough to remind me again I love days of cloud, and fog, and rain I can take off my mask I can breathe Un-squint my eyes, forehead, jaw It’s okay to be sad today And that makes me happy Let go of mindfulness Let’s try bodyfulness skyfulness groundfulness Let’s invite drizzle-mist
