September 22, 2018. Sunset 6:55 PM.
East River, NY.
Happy Equinox. Time to hunker down.
What an opportunity! The final ferry to leave Governor’s Island coincided with the Equinox sunset. Many thanks to Carol Parkinson and Harvestworks for sponsoring this evening’s celebration. It was soooooo lovely.
Thanks to all the bell ringers! And special thanks to everyone who distributed bells and invited passengers to participate: Lele Buonerba, Mary Buchen, Benjamin Buford, Penelope Coe, Georgina Lewis, Maria Mykolenko and Gabe Shalom. Let’s do it again next year!
