“5:27 pm on HWY 113 between Woodland and Davis, CA XOXO”.- Lynne Piade
2008 was the inaugural year in an ongoing, aspirational project dedicated to the observation of the sun every time it crosses the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others while ringing bells. It is based on the conviction that something as inarguable as the movement of the earth can be used as a point of unity and awareness among large groups of people who might otherwise find it impossible to agree. I’m hoping that everyone who has joined us while we’ve been out here most every night since March of 2020 will continue to drop by at sunset- whether we are here or not—Please ring the bell! I’ll be posting some QR codes out there in the morning for anyone who wants to check out the dailybell archival blog or cares to post to the FB page.Posted by Brenda Hutchinson at 6:00 PM 0 comments

Happy Veterans Day!
We poured the slab for the big bell and are letting it set overnight. Hence the little bells.

Happy Veteran's Day! It seemed like an appropriate day to install a bell. We poured the slab for the bell and are letting it set overnight. If all goes well, we will put the bell in place tomorrow.
