2008 was the inaugural year in an ongoing, aspirational project dedicated to the observation of the sun every time it crosses the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others while ringing bells. It is based on the conviction that something as inarguable as the movement of the earth can be used as a point of unity and awareness among large groups of people who might otherwise find it impossible to agree. far far north

Thanks for lovely brighter mornings! Amazing! Gives hope!

Here is a photo of the sun recently, friday the 28th october from the northern swedish region I am living in, from a small village called Bollstabruk.
It is a sunset, already around 4pm (before the wintertime change the former weekend).

Sunsets is happening at same time as sunrises, and I feel so connected with all of you from all different places, through the sun! Let the sun shine on us, in new brighter mornings and brighter days!

We are listening and watching the sun together!
