Sunrise 7:13 AM. 2/1/20 Oakland, California A feather-down mattress of birdsong Offered freely For all of us Lay down in this sound flood Let it embrace your exhausted body Sinking, sinking, sinking Into feathered love “Remember, remember, remember,” Calls ancestor bird “Remember the root of it all. The light comes, and the light goes. We sing it so.” --Eric Kupers

Real time sunset from glow to gone
January 26, 2020. Sunset 5:24 PM. Berkeley, CA. ....from my window - Wendy Reid and Ariel This is an amazing video- Real time sunset from Wendy and her daughter Ariel. Starting with the glowing sky just as the sun it about to set through the log drain of color from the world to darkness. Accompanied by bell ringing until the final moments. Then into the quiet, dark evening- another light appears (wait for it)!
