Day 395 sunsets at home.
2008 was the inaugural year in an ongoing project dedicated to the observation of the sun every time it crossed the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). Beginning on Monday evening December 31, 2007, at 4:59 PST, Brenda Hutchinson invites others to join in wherever they find themselves at sunrise or sunset and to post to the blog if you wish. This is the archival blog and has ALL documentation since 2008.

Believe it or not, we have already begun to slow down the rate of increasing daylight. We are still extending the daylight more than 2 minutes a day, but a second less than the day before. Not complaining. Just surprised.Posted by Brenda Hutchinson at 9:30 PM 0 comments
