Please come back again!
2008 was the inaugural year in an ongoing, aspirational project dedicated to the observation of the sun every time it crosses the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others while ringing bells. It is based on the conviction that something as inarguable as the movement of the earth can be used as a point of unity and awareness among large groups of people who might otherwise find it impossible to agree. Jan 17, 2023. Sunrise Wooster OH (7:49 AM) vs Philadelphia, PA (6:51 AM)
Hey Brenda, I was thinking of you yesterday… I’m working in Wooster OH this week, an early shift, and I noticed how much darker it is here than in Philly at 6:30 in the morning… Even though the same time zone, much further west, sunrise and sunset or later…
Anyway, I thought of you. Hope all is well.

It's so interesting isn't it- where we are in the time zone? So many factors for when the sun rises and sets-- though if we just move horizontally through the time zone- at least the days are the same length-- It's a lot to keep track of-- BH
