Seattle Sunrise

January 18, 2020. Sunrise 7:52 AM.
Seattle, WA.

A new decade dawns. Yawns.
Honor pause.
Ten years, twenty years... would I have thought about now?
I did.
Welcoming this decade, I join Brenda's "dailybell" offering.
Celebrating fellow artists. So many!
Take stock of the Light.
Respect the rain.
My home country burns.
Cry. Tears. Memory.
Rain. Ringing.

Gratitude and Fun

January 16, 2020. Sunset 5:40 PM.
Cincinnati, OH.

I brought bells to share with folks at The Hive happy hour Cincinnati. The Hive is an intentional community and offers workshops in mindfulness, creativity, body work. This is a new community for me but I invited them to mark the sunset with me, and everyone was so into it! It brought me so much joy and a feeling of belonging. (if Sonya gives permission) Afterwards Sonya Verma who I had just met, shared with me and later the group, her daily practice around the sunset and sunrise. Sharing and marking the sunset as a group, brought us together in a deeper way. There was a lot of willingness, gratitude and fun.
