ACRAZYBITCH

Coming home I needed to pull over to ring the bell. Since I was on Market Street, it was not possible. So I pulled over as soon as I could and started to set up the camera when I heard someone yelling that he needed to get out of his driveway. I looked up and there was a man leaning out of his window on the second floor- I asked him if he needed to go right at that moment as I would only be a minute. He said that's what everybody says. I said the sun was going down and I had to ring the bell. He shut the window and I rang and then left. When I got home, this message was on thebellproject blog. (thebellproject.blogspot.com is still written on the side of my car):

I find it curious that people who are enraged often leave correct spelling, good grammar, and appropriate punctuation by the wayside. It's such a shame really, because I would have much more sympathy for this gentleman if only he had used the contraction "you're" instead of the possessive "your," "an" before "inconsiderate bitch" rather than "a," etc. I do understand that fury often may drive us to disregard or simply overlook the tenets of correct language usage. But I sincerely hope that we all learn a little something from this tirade, fraught as it is with errors - that no matter how pissed off, mortified, saddened, or in a hurry we might be, we should always take a moment to remember that the English language is sacred and not to be trifled with. (After all that I've still managed to end my comment with a preposition.....)
