It is based on the conviction that something as inarguable as the movement of the earth can be used as a point of unity and awareness among large groups of people who might otherwise find it impossible to agree. Sunset was at 8:25 in Brooklyn-- It looks like we each have 5 minutes more daylight at the end of the day before heading back the other way-- Sunrises are another matter altogether…-- Also don’t forget to look for the the 7-planet alignment at sunrise this month.
