Exciting news for all
skywatchers
I thought I'd use this
evening’s sunset update as an opportunity to alert/remind everyone of an
exciting planetary event that will occur overnight this Monday into
Tuesday: a total lunar
eclipse - the first of a series four consecutive total eclipses
–
This series, called a tetrad, will occur over the next 2 years and
will be visible from North America. Because the eclipse turns the moon red, it
has been called a Blood Moon.
It also coincides nicely with
Passover and Tax day.
