“Spring Equinox Ambient Bird”

March 20, 2025. Sunset 7:21 PM. Berkeley, CA.
This was an unexpectedly warm evening (until the sun set) with a gentle Equinox performance of Wendy Reid’s “Spring Equinox Ambient Bird” piece. This was the moment just after the piece finished as it coincided with the sunset at the Indian Rock Park— Even a slight walk up the slope offered a surprisingly wide-angle view of the Bay and Bay Bridge and distant horizon on the Pacific Ocean. Happy Spring!!!

It's hard to keep up with the cosmic calendar at the moment- but in case you missed it- it is still possible to witness some portion of the planetary alignment (7 planets!!!) which was on display on Friday--
An auspicious introduction to this year's beginning of Ramadan.
