“Six Feet of Separation Ensemble” - Day 7 sheltering in place

March 28, 2020. Sunset 7:29 PM.
San Francisco, CA.

The beach parking lot was closed and the weather misty and grey. Not so great to watch the sunset on the beach as our friends Elisabeth and Richard wanted to do this evening. So, they came by to vigorously ring the big bell, bringing their Gankogui bell from a recent trip to Africa. Completing this evening’s “Six Feet of Separation Ensemble” was a surprise visit from Bernie and Mardi who live 14 blocks away. They probably could have stayed home and still been able to hear the racket we were making tonight. I apologize to my neighbors and promise this is the most boisterous piece in our repertoire and will only be performed on special occasions.

Day 6- Sheltering in Place - Non-virtual remote viewing.

March 27, 2020. Sunset 7:28 PM.
San Francisco, CA.

Earlier today-- Non-virtual remote viewing. The idea of going to the post office to mail a package was too scary. Too many possible points of contagion left by people seen and unseen. Suddenly the thought about the inside of my car (relatively clean) and a drive across the Bay to deliver the package in person became very appealing. We had a chilly little visit – Norman and I all bundled up on the sidewalk outside- Trying to see drawings and school reports from far away and listening to a piano duet coming from out the door at the top of the stairs. It felt like a miracle.

Sunset 7:28 PM- Our neighbor across the street checks on us to see if we need anything--- Thank you Martina.

Day 5- Sheltering in Place- Sharing Toilet Paper?

March 26, 2020. Sunset 7:27 PM.
San Francisco, CA.

Outing to the grocery store today. Walking down the desolate paper goods aisle, listening as a gentle announcer informed us- perhaps not realizing that the horse had already left the barn, “We are all in this together. Only ONE paper goods products per person. Either toilet paper OR paper towels. Not both”.

Taking in the sunset. Very windy this evening! (mostly she would just like to escape out the window)

Ragtag Crow Medicine by Evangel King

March 22, 2020. Sunrise 7:09 AM. Sunset 7:24 PM.
Berkeley, CA.

Here is the poem: for sunrise & sunset March 22nd -
Ragtag Crow Medicine

Cawing, cawing…
Sky lightens
Dips & dives, they flock
North – East
Hundreds in
Tattered & dedicated pursuit
Back to ancients
I their witness
My heart
Soars.

Repeating their course
South – West
Followers of the sun
Into blackness –
Deep, deep peace
Eternal rhythms
My heart
Softens
Delight & awe
I a speck of it all
FREE!

Let us invoke Mother Kali to come and eliminate this virus

March 22, 2020 is Amayavasa or the new moon, the dark night. According to Vedic astrology, its the day when the virus will have maximum power. Millions of people in quarantine in their homes, this is good for the planet Earth. At the moment when the moon is passing into a new "nakshatra" called Revati, people are playing bellin and making noise. The accumulation of vibrations helps the blood circulation in our bodies. This is why the ancient Shakit temples in the mountains had huge bells and gongs.
Let us invoke Mother Kali to come and eliminate this virus. All of you can join us, I am confident that we will overcome evil.
Love to all, Thanks Didi
