It’s hard to believe that since the Equinox, the day is already more than 45 minutes shorter than the night around here.Pretty soon our mailman will be working in the dark.
2008 was the inaugural year in an ongoing project dedicated to the observation of the sun every time it crossed the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). Beginning on Monday evening December 31, 2007, at 4:59 PST, Brenda Hutchinson invites others to join in wherever they find themselves at sunrise or sunset and to post to the blog if you wish. This is the archival blog and has ALL documentation since 2008.
