I thought my mother was pretty old when she died

San Francisco, CA.

This would have been my mother’s 84th birthday. When I consider that this year, I will be the same age that she was when she died, I am shocked at how “not finished yet” I feel. I wonder if that’s usually true, regardless of how long you’ve been alive.
